How It Works
Text Analysis
Your English text is first analyzed and broken down into individual words. The system checks each word against the learning dictionary to see if there's already a known conversion.
Phonetic Conversion
For new words, the system uses espeak-ng to generate International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) notation. This captures the precise pronunciation of English words.
Romanian Mapping
The IPA notation is then mapped to Romanian phonetic spelling using a custom rule-based system. Romanian letters are chosen to match the English pronunciation as closely as possible.
Learning & Improvement
Every conversion is stored in the dictionary with usage statistics. You can add custom corrections for words, and the system will remember your preferences. The more you use it, the smarter it gets!
